Who am I?

My name is Richard, but everyone knows me as Bob. I have been a software developer since mid 2006, prior to that I was doing a degree in Mathematics at Heriot Watt University. I am Scottish, living in Edinburgh and working at Rapid Mobile.

What is this site about?

This site is a place for me to talk about my work and other software development related topics. It gives me an opportunity, and a place, to get better at writing about technical subjects. Also hopefully in writing things down I will help increase my own understanding.
